Raised near the gentle countryside of Quebec City, Eric’s love the great outdoors developed at an early age. At 17, he was given his first camera before an exciting trip across Canada. By the time he reached the Rockies in Alberta, Eric was in love with the country and was interpreting its land through a lens. By 1997 Eric had joined a team of seven nature photographers who managed the ‘ENVIROFOTO’ stock agency.

Since that time, Eric has had work published in several books including Canadian Wildlands and La Nature du Quebec. His images continue to appear in publication in Quebec and he Banff / Canmore area.

In 1999 Eric chose the Bow Valley as his permanent home, working on events at the Banff Springs Hotel. In 2006, Eric further honed his photographic skills with a Certificate in Photography from SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology). In 2007 he celebrated his own marriage to Leanne and together they have built their home with Sadie – their beloved retriever!

Dedicated as a fulltime wedding and event photographer, Eric’s skills are in high demanding, offering outstanding local knowledge. He regularly shoots events at landmarks such as the Banff Springs Hotel as well as in wilderness setting such as Moraine and Lake Louise.

After literally thousands of hours capturing weddings, wildlife and regional attractions, Eric has developed a solid reputation for reliability and creativity. He is friendly, professional and skilled at interpreting clients’ needs with an open and relaxed communication style offering great advice when required.
